David Frost
Normal – David Alan Frost, 68, of Normal, passed away at 10:49 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his residence.
His Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with C.H. (Colonel) Retired Robert Guy officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service conducted by the Bloomington Masonic Lodge #43 Wade Barney at 6:00 p.m. at the memorial home on Monday. Cremation rites have been accorded. Military Rites will be accorded by the Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard.
Interment will be at a later date in Myers Cemetery in Herrick, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Clover Leaf Lodge, Eric, Illinois c/o Jim Nance.
David was born on April 6, 1947 in Shelby County, Cold Springs Township, Illinois, a son of Carl E. and Clara Elizabeth Manuel Frost. He married Theresa Wolinski on July 3, 1980 in Kankakee, Illinois.
Surviving is his wife, Theresa Frost of Normal; two sons, Carl E. (Carolyn) Frost of Muncie, IN, and Michael A. (Rachel) Frost of Indianapolis, IN; two step-daughters, Barbara Jean McGrath of Decatur and Sandra Lynn (Ed) Smith of Gilbert, AZ; and five grandchildren, Garrett Edward Smith, Lincoln David Frost, Lily Ann Frost, Wilson Abraham Frost and Bruce Michael Frost.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
David joined the United States Army on March 6, 1968 and retired on November 30, 1995. During his 27 years of honorable service with the United States Army he performed the duties of veterinary Specialist, Food Inspector, Auxiliary Fire Fighter, Administration and Supply, and Senior Personnel Specialist. He obtained the high rank of E-7, Sargent First Class. Among his many accolades earned in the Army were: the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Army Commendation Medal (4th Award), Army Achievement Medal, Oversea Service Ribbon, Meritorious Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Reserve Component achievement Medal, Professional Development Ribbon (3rd) Award), Humanitarian Service Medal, Illinois State National Guard Active Duty Service Ribbon, and the Rifle Expert Qualification Badge.
David was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed.

Dorothy Henline
Colfax – Dorothy Henline, 101, of Colfax, passed away at 7:15 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Aperion Care Center of Colfax.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Wiley Cemetery in Colfax. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy was born April 17, 1914 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Homer and Daisy Pirtle Henline. Surviving are her cousin, Mary Iler of Colfax, and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy graduated from Colfax High School in 1933. She worked in housekeeping at Octavia Manor. She also worked for McHatton’s Restaurant and JoAnn’s Restaurant.
