NORMAL – The Illinois State softball team’s home opener against DePaul scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled due to rain. No makeup game will be played.
The Redbirds are still scheduled to play three games this weekend. ISU will host Wichita State in the team’s first home Missouri Valley Conference series of the season. Saturday’s doubleheader will begin at noon and 2 p.m., while Sunday’s finale will begin at noon.
