WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of April 18, 2016:

Mack Leonard – Normal Community Softball

Mack pitcher a no-hitter with seven strikeouts in a five-inning 11-0 win over Metamora. She then pitched a one-hitter in a five-inning 10-0 victory over Danville.

Peyton Dillingham – Normal West Baseball

Peyton had three extra-base hits, including a homerun, in the Wildcats’ loss to Peoria Notre Dame. He recorded five hits and a save in a doubleheader sweep of Danville.
