NORMAL – Police in Normal are asking for public assistance as they search for a suspect who beat a woman on Constitution Trail Monday morning.
Police said they were called to the area of the Constitution Trail near I-55 at around 10:20 a.m. A female victim reported she had been walking on the trail when she was pushed to the ground by an unknown male and hit multiple times before the suspect fled on foot.
The victim described the suspect as a white male with long, straight blondish/brown hair, possibly in his 30s.
