NORMAL – Illinois State University officials said a small electrical fire at the University Street chiller plant has been controlled and extinguished.
University spokesman Eric Jome explained the fire was contained to one room and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is being determined.
Officials were blocking traffic on University Street between Beaufort and Dry Grove.
