NORMAL – There’s a buyer for the Mitsubishi Plant in Normal.
Manufacturing stopped at the facility late last year. According to a news release Maynards Industries and Assets Corporation is the buyer.
They will take possession of the property June first. The future plans for the site and the equipment are not known.
However, the release says the new owners are in discussions with various parties and are reviewing options.
