Obituary: Schultz

GALENA  – Hannah E. Schultz, 94, formerly of Bloomington, recently of Galena, passed away at 3:38 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Galena Stauss Seniors Care in Galena, Illinois.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Pastor Thomas Wirsing officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the service at the memorial home on Monday.

Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Hannah was born on June 6, 1921 in Champaign, Illinois, a daughter to John and Hannah Sims Saathoff. She married Edward G. Schultz on January 8, 1943 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Surviving are her children, Edward C.(Tamara) Schultz of Galena, IL and Sherilyn Lee (Conrad) Morris of Westmont, IL; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two half brothers and one half sister.

Hannah was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church all her life.
