BLOOMINGTON – Another season of farmers markets gets underway Saturday morning in downtown Bloomington.
In addition to year-round staples like meats, eggs, honey, cheese, jams, and baked goods, shoppers can expect to find a wide variety of seasonal produce available on opening dates, including asparagus, rhubarb, radishes, kale, spinach, and greens in early May, with strawberries, beets, carrots, and peas coming on later in the month.
The Downtown Bloomington Association Farmers Market is every Saturday May to October from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Saturday’s event outside of the McLean County Museum of History will feature live music.
