Dolores Stauffer, 84, of Normal, passed away at 8:41 a.m., May 19 at her home.
Her memorial visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home followed by a brief service with Chaplain Ellen Anderson officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.

Dolores was born Sep. 1, 1931 in Danvers, the daughter of Vernon and Lillian Lemke Blain. She married Delmer Stauffer on May 22, 1952 in Covington, Ind. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2009.
Survivors include three children, Denise (Robert) Alvis, David Stauffer and Dirk Stauffer, all of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Devon (Shawn) Taylor, Jessi, Eric (Michelle), Mandy and Logan Stauffer; three brothers, David (Carolyn) Blain of Florida, Charles (Louise) Blain of Michigan and Stephen (Paul Guido) Blain of California; two sisters-in-law, Sharon (Leon) Blain of Bloomington and Jerri (James) Blain of Colorado; and her little dog, Star.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Kelsey Grace Stauffer and two brothers, Leon Blain and James Blain.
Dolores enjoyed her time working at the Brittany Restaurant, was an avid Chicago Bears fan, but most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren.
