De Powlers V. Price, 78, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on June 12 at Bloomington Rehabilitation Center in Bloomington.

His Memorial Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with his daughter Rev. Sonya Price officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the service on Saturday at the memorial home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.

Surviving are five daughters, Sonya Price of Johnson City, Tenn., Barbie Price of Champaign, Devonna Johnson of Normal, Christy Bryant of Kingsport, Tenn. and Nichole Gardner of Johnson City, Tenn.; one son, Broderick “Rick” Vaught of Bloomington; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Florence “Flossie” Rigsby, 90 of Colfax, died at 12:45 p.m., June 11, 2016, at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Home, Chenoa.

Cremation rites have been accorded per her request. A private family service is planned for a later date.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Meadows Mennonite Retirement Home, Chenoa or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Florence was born May 6, 1926, in Eureka the daughter Hans and Maude Johansen.

She married Francis Rigsby on Dec. 24, 1947, in Stigler, Okla.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, one sister and a son, Brad Rigsby.

Survivors include two sons, Barry (Diana) Rigsby of Colfax and Bart Rigsby of Fairbury; and daughter-in-law, Ellen Rigsby of El Paso.  She has eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Florence attended Colfax Schools and graduated from Colfax High School.

Flossie’s entire family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Samuel Steffen of Lexington for his exceptional care and compassion and the entire Meadows Mennonite Home for the wonderful care she received while a resident there.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
