Mary Wolcott 

Mary Alice Hazlett Wolcott, 91 of Normal, formerly of Downs, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 12:25 p.m. at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.

Her graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington with Rev. Ellen Anderson and Rev. Jim Boswell officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to the OSF Hospice or McLean County Nursing Home.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, Ill. is in charge of arrangements.

Mary was born on April 4, 1925 in DeWitt County, Ill.. Daughter of Frank and Minnie Peasley Hazlett. She married Paul E. Wolcott on December 22, 1944 in Bloomington. He passed away on March 9, 1983.

Mary is survived by 2 daughters; Paula Crook, Bloomington, Michelle (Tim) McDonald, Downs, 1 son; Randy Wolcott, Normal, 2 granddaughters; Wendy Crook, Bloomington, Kristen Wilson, Normal, 2 grandsons; Matt Crook, Bloomington, Tim McDonald, Downs and 1 great grandson; Tyler Wilson, Normal. Also surviving is 1 brother-in-law; Bill Wall, Pennsylvania and 2 nieces; Nikki Ann (Michael) Lee, Nevada and Paulette (Gary) Dickerson, Florida.

She is preceded by her parents, 1 son-in-law; David Crook, 1 daughter-in-law; April Thomas Wolcott, 2 sister-in-laws; Alice Wall and Gert Sherman and 1 brother-in-law; Art Sherman.

Mary was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed very deeply.

The family would like to thank OSF Hospice for your care and support, you are all amazing. Dana and Karen her nurse and aide at the nursing home, you both are Angels and they are lucky to have you. Thank you, you are amazing. Social Services, Julie, Lina, Ginny, thanks for your support you are awesome. Thanks to Dr. Spaniol for always listening to our concerns and taking care of mom and helping us carry out her wishes.

We love you mom, you are in our hearts forever.
