Gillum Road, which is also CH 29 or 1900 East Road, between 500 and 600 North roads will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday, weather permitting, for guardrail repairs in this area.
Ellsworth Road, which is also CH 17 or 2850 East Road, between Holder Ellsworth Road and 1100North Road, will be closed to through traffic starting Wednesday, June 22, through July 8, weather permitting, for culvert replacement. Access to Ellsworth will be maintained during construction.
In Randolph Township, 1700 East Road between 325 and 400 North roads will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting, for tree removal in this area.
In Towanda Township, 1800 North Road between 1900 and 2000 East roads will be closed to through traffic, on Wednesday through Friday, weather permitting, for guardrail repairs.
Rowe Construction will be closing Old U.S. Route 66 between Towanda Avenue and Airport Road, or 1800 East Road, starting June 27 through July 1, to through traffic, weather permitting, for fire hydrant relocation work. A detour route will be posted via Towanda Avenue to Fort Jesse Road then to Veterans Parkway in Normal to Interstate 55 north to the Towanda exit to CH 29 back to Old U.S. Route 66.
