ROCHESTER, Minn. – Former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s fall from grace is complete.
He arrived via wheelchair at a Rochester, Minnesota prison on Wednesday about two hours before the deadline to start serving a 15-month sentence for his role in a hush-money case.
Hastert, who once was a VIP guest on many occasions during his time in Washington, made a humble entry into the prison with a plastic bag and brown box.
