Mary E. Natale, formerly of Normal, passed away on Aug. 14 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal with Rev. John Horton officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bloomington.  Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary was born on Dec. 24, 1929 in Bloomington, the daughter of Edward and Mary Loftus Johnston.She married Joseph M. Natale on Aug. 24, 1957 in Bloomington.  He died on April 5, 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Victoria “Tory” (Neil Leary) Natale of Carlisle, Penn.; three grandchildren, Molly, Conor and Ella Leary

She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph E. Natale.

Mary taught kindergarten at Metcalf for many years before teaching early childhood education classes at ISU.

Florent Nzita, 52, of Bloomington, passed away at 9:15 a.m., Aug. 10 at his home.

Service: 1:00 p.m., Friday at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal with Rev. Eric Powell officiating.  Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal.  Visitation: One hour prior to the service, Friday at the church.

Memorials: To the family.

Survivors: wife, Evelyne Mbumbu Nganga; four children, Herve Nzita, Benedicte Nzita, Marie Judith Nzita and Joseph Nzita, all of Bloomington.
