Updated high speed rail closures in Normal

NORMAL – The Town of Normal has received a revised schedule of road closures related to the Illinois High Speed Rail project.

The closures are required to complete the work on the railroad tracks and to replace the roadway crossings. A detour route will be marked for each closure.

Below is the current closure schedule:

Fell Avenue OPEN

Linden Street closed until Sept. 30

Fort Jesse Road closed until Sept. 7

Broadway closed Aug. 30 to Sept. 30 (bike/trail crossing will remain open)

College Avenue, Mulberry Street closed Oct. 3 to Nov. 5

Beech Street closed Nov. 7 to Dec. 3
