Unit 5 moves meeting to Normal West

NORMAL – Unit 5’s school board will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday night at Normal West High School as another large crowd is expected.

This marks the second time the board has moved its twice-monthly meeting from the Unit 5 offices to address its busing issues with the public.

The school district and its transportation provider, First Student, have had a series of problems in busing students to and from school during the first month. Superintendent Mark Daniel is expected to provide a transportation update.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
