SPRINGFIELD – Democratic congressional candidate Junius Rodriguez is trying to take up more space on the political radar screen in his battle with incumbent U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood.
The Eureka College history professor is calling on LaHood to agree to a series of four debates before the November election. LaHood officials said he has taken part in seven forums and debates in 15 months and he is very interested in taking part in a debate. It’s now a matter of working out conflicts and finding the right debate format.
