athleteoftheweek WJBC Radio, in conjunction with Meatheads of Bloomington-Normal, Clay Dooley Tire and Auto and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Nov. 14, 2016:

Lillian Culp – U-High Swimming

Lillian qualified for three state finals events (200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke, 400 freestyle relay), all record-breaking for the school; two were pool records at Normal West.

Nick DeBolt – Dee-Mack Football

Nick’s late fourth quarter interception sealed the Chiefs’ 14-12 win over top-seeded Sterling Newman in the Class 2A quarterfinals at Sterling.
