SPRINGFIELD – Former congressman Aaron Schock’s attorneys have asked a federal judge to delay an arraignment for the 24 federal counts Schock was charged with last week.
Schock resigned last March. The charges against him include theft of government funds, fraud, making false statements and filing false tax returns.
Schock’s attorneys have asked a judge to move the arraignment from Nov. 21 to sometime between Dec. 12 and 15. They said the arraignment interferes with a planned international business trip.
