NORMAL – The Normal Rotary Club has given a $480 grant to the Oakdale Elementary Promise Council to buy file storage boxes to contain the school’s crisis procedures.

The grant will provide 40 boxes to be placed at each classroom door in the school so crisis procedures are easily available to teachers and substitute teachers.

Members of Normal Rotary have been active in Oakdale’s Promise Council for several years.

The Normal Rotary Club is dedicated to service to the community and the world. The club meets at noon on Wednesday’s at Illinois State University’s Bone Student Center.

For more information on the Normal Rotary Club, see the web site at normalrotary.org.
