BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Clerk Kathy Michael reports her office has received 18 absentee ballots from Normal so far that have not been counted.

Michael earlier said 34 absentee ballots were requested from Normal. Those ballots must be received within two weeks of the election with a postmark on or before April 4 to be counted.

Incumbent Chris Koos leads challenger Marc Tiritilli by seven votes after the count of early and Election Day ballots.

Michael said her office plans to have official results completed by the end of the day on Tuesday, April 18, the two-week mark from the election.
