For the second year in a row, Stoller International and KSR in Pontiac are teaming up with the Livingston County Farm Bureau to help people start seeing farmers.

Farm Bureau Manager Jody Hughes talks about the signs that are available for those who are interested.

“The goal of this is to, as we’ve discussed before, we want zero farming accidents, so this is just something we’re doing to raise awareness. We’re working with KSR and Stoller International again to donate these, so please start seeing farmers and come either to one of their locations or to our office to get your complimentary sign,” Hughes said.

Visit the Farm Bureau at 901 W. Howard Street.

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

Looking around our community, when we say employer, most will respond to State Farm, Country, or Illinois State University.   We too often forget those who are building our roads, serving our food, or our public employees. COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
