Sewer work planned on Main Street overnight

BLOOMINGTON – Overnight lane closures are planned this week on Main Street between Olive and Chestnut streets for sewer lining work.

Work is scheduled for 8 p.m. to 8 a.m on Sunday though Wednesday.

Drivers should anticipate traffic delays and consider alternate routes.

Because this section of Main Street lies within a business district, the city has chosen to complete this work overnight in order to cause the fewest disruptions to local businesses, traffic, and parking. The city has attained the permit required for this type of work which occurs during overnight hours.
