COOKSVILLE – Betty Bradford, 91, of Cooksville, passed away at 4:15 a.m., May 1, 2017 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Betty was born October 9, 1925, in Dicky Mills, Ky., the daughter of James Walter and Elsie Mary Hale Duncan.
She married Russell E. Bradford on November 27, 1943, in Cooksville. He passed away on July 12, 2008.
Surviving are her two sons, R. Norman (Bonnie) Bradford of Cross Plaines, Wis. and Michael (Sheila) Bradford of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one brother, George Duncan of Richmond, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her three sisters.
Betty had a special bond with grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved helping her neighbors.
Betty’s love for family and friends will live on the many beautiful quilts she has made.
