NORMAL – Freshman forward Andre Washington is transferring from the Illinois State men’s basketball program, coach Dan Muller announced Wednesday.

“I want to thank Andre for the year he was here at ISU, and I wish him nothing but the best going forward,” Muller said.

Washington played in 17 games off the bench as a freshman. He averaged 0.7 points and 0.6 rebounds in 4.8 minutes per contest.
