Bloomington Police make 4 arrests after prostitution investigation

BLOOMINGTON – Police have made four arrests following an online investigation into prostitution.

The Bloomington Police Department’s Vice Unit reports the four Bloomington residents people were taken into custody last week near the 800 block of IAA Drive in Bloomington.

Police say as a result of this investigation, Dvaunte Dawson, 26, was arrested for promoting prostitution and driving with a suspended license. Kelsey Voeghtly, 25, was arrested for promoting prostitution. Sara Ridgeway, 22, was arrested for prostitution. A 15-year-old girl was taken into protective custody.

Authorities also seized 20 grams of marijuana and cash as evidence.

Dawson, Voeghtly, and Ridgeway were transported to the McLean County Jail. The juvenile was released to her parents.
