NORMAL – Leah Johnson will be introduced as Illinois State’s seventh head volleyball coach at a press conference in the Hancock Stadium Club on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Johnson coached the last six seasons at Southern Illinois Edwardsville. She played at Missouri State where she had also served as an assistant coach. Johnson was named the Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year last season.

Johnson replaces Melissa Myers who resigned earlier this month after a nine-year tenure at ISU.

The public is invited to attend Wednesday’s press conference. Parking is available in the Ropp parking lot or the parking lot east of the stadium.
