Terry Miller

CHATSWORTH – Terry Onslow Miller, 76, of Normal, formerly of Chatsworth, passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chatsworth with Pastor Mauricio Vieira officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 till 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at church. Burial will follow services at the Chatsworth Cemetery. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth is handling arrangements for the family.

Terry was born March 25, 1941 in Somerville, NJ the first child of Glenn and Molita (Fisher) Miller. His siblings: Tiania Shaffer of Deposit, NY, Sharon Grannon of Ardmore, OK, Galen Miller of Maynard, MA, Vaughn (Melissa) Miller of Tulsa, OK and many nieces and nephews.

At the age of 9 his family moved to Cincinnatus, NY where he attended school and graduated from Syracuse Business School. He married Sharon Stafford and had their first child: Pansy (Kenneth) Friedman. Then, they moved to the Evansville, IN area and had Glenn (Barbara Hembree) Miller and Brian (Mary Bryant) Miller. He then married Elly Easton and her children: Dough (Yvonne) Hurt, Ingrid Emling, and Kenneth Hurt. After Elly’s death, Terry married Mary (Smith) Fisher and her children: Timothy (Meghan) Fisher, Matthew (Rebecca) Fisher, Lisa (Lance) Ringo, Kelly Achord, Kimberly (Steve) Sylvester, Jason Green, and Brian (Jill) Schenk. There are 27 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren in his blended family he loved.

Terry owned and operated Bennett’s Cleaners for 30 years. He served on the town board for over 14 years. He also was a member of Chatsworth Lion’s Club, Chatsworth Historical Society, Treasurer of the Chatsworth Township Library, Indian Creek Country Club playing in the golf league, Fairbury Bowling League, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chatsworth.

Terry’s motto was family, friends, community…..work hard, play hard.

He requests memorials be directed to Chatsworth Township (Baltz) Library for children’s programming. Children are the future.

Jean Radcliffe

DANVERS – Jean Elaine Radcliff, 78 of Danvers, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 6 a.m. at her home.

Jean’s service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington with Rev. Jason Collins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Danvers TWP Fire Department or Covell Community Church.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jean was born on May 24, 1939 in El Paso, Illinois the daughter of Carl William and Freda Marie (Schroeder) Ferrenburg. She married Richard Steven Radcliff on February 18, 1983 in Bloomington.

Jean is survived by her husband Ricahrd of Danvers, her children; Kurt Kaufman of Mackinaw, Kelly Kaufman of Mackinaw and Kent (Suzy) Kaufman of East Peoria. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her brother; Paul (Joann) Ferrenburg of Danvers.

Jean was an avid Coca Cola collector and enjoyed Antiquing. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
