Jonathan Bach

Jonathan A. Bach, 32, Normal and formerly of Fairbury, died at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his residence, Normal.

A public celebration of his life will be held 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memoria Home, Fairbury with a private family service on Monday, August 28, 2017.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Salvation Army, 611 West Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701.

Jonathan was born September 10, 1984 in Chicago, IL the son of Roger E. and Joanne Sonnenberg Bach.

Survivors include his father, Roger (Karen) Bach, Fairbury; three brothers, Nick (Stephanie) Bach, Franklin, TN; Ed (Tia) Bach, Superior, CO; and Jim (Kacki) Bach, Honduras.

He is preceded in death by his mother, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jonathan was a graduate of Prairie Central High school and had attended Michigan State University and Heartland Community College.  He truly loved his job at Bridgestone, Normal.  He had an infectious laugh and enjoyed spending time outdoors especially at the family cabin in northwest Wisconsin.

He will be greatly missed, but know he is resting in Jesus’ arms.

Cynthia Ann (Clementz) DeCrane, 55, of Bloomington, went to meet her Savior and join her loved ones in heaven on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Northside Church of Christ in Bloomington with Rev. Larry Sharp officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Carmody Flynn Funeral home in Bloomington. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Alan DeCrane; two daughters, Karen of Wichita, KS, Stacy of Cary, N.C. Cindy will be watching from heaven as her daughter Stacy marries John Turner in September of 2017. Also surviving are her mother, Joann Clementz of Kewanee; two brothers and three sisters.

Cindy loved the outdoors, bird-watching, camping, hiking, waterfalls, gardening and traveling the world. She passionately lived her faith with the Northside Church of Christ, whose mission is to Love God, Love Others and Serve the World. She was active in both the Great Banquet prison ministry and Mom and Me Camp at the Lincoln and Logan Correctional facilities.

Jeanette G. Deffenbaugh, 65 of Pontiac formerly of Chenoa, passed away at 5:46 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Pontiac Healthcare and Rehab, Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded and graveside inurnment will be 11 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2017 at Chenoa Twp. Cemetery, Chenoa with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Visitation will be 2 – 4 pm, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Family of Jeanette Deffenbaugh.

Jeanette was born April 18, 1952 in the family’s home in Merrimac, Ky., the daughter of Thomas and Betty (Graham) Clark. Her father and one brother, Leonard Clark preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Nicole (Corey) Christianson of Lexington, Ill.; two grandsons, C.J. and Ben Christianson of Lexington; and her mother Betty Clark of Chenoa.
