Ameren sending additional hurricane relief to Florida

ST. LOUIS – Ameren has provided additional help to hurricane relief efforts.

The utility announced an additional $25,000 donation toward Red Cross relief efforts in Florida ater Hurricane Irma, following a similar donation last week for work in Texas to recover from Hurricane Harvey.

Ameren also reports approximately 1,000 employees and contractors are assisting efforts in Florida to reconnect millions without power. Ameren is providing the help through the electric industry’s mutual assistance network under the Edison Electric Institute.
