He is also survived by a son, Dillon Marcus of Colorado Springs, Colo., three sisters, Joy (Stanhope Gould) Marcus of San Mateo, Calif., Gay Gelman of Chicago and Ginger (Barb Brody) Marcus of Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Ron will be remembered for his loyalty and faithfulness as a husband, father, brother and friend. He cared deeply for all of the people in his life and he desired to share with them all that he could to help them in their journey of life. His code was simple but profound, love God, speak the truth and always support and defend your friends and family.

He loved his son Dillon deeply and was proud of the man he has become. He loved the times they spent working together, fishing and traveling. He named him Dillon because it means faithful and Ron knew above all that faithfulness to God and oneself is the best lesson he could teach his son.

Ron was the owner of Marcus Motors for 26 years. He was blessed to work in the field of his passion, motorcycle mechanics. He was a natural mechanic with an eye for design and together that helped him create some one-of-a-kind motorcycles. He loved to travel and over the years developed many friendships with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts around the country.

He will be missed.
