BLOOMINGTON – McLean County prosecutors have filed charges against two men who were reportedly at a party in which a fight broke out and was broadcast on Facebook Live, but no have arrests have been made in that incident.
Police responded to multiple calls at different location involving Samuel Gentry, 20, of Bloomington and Anthony Crose, 20, of Normal. Police said Crose become upset about being asked to leave a party at an apartment on Dewey Street late Saturday night. They said Gentry, who was at the party with him, pulled out of a handgun from his pants and pointed it in a threatening manner at a group of people. The two then left and were later at a party at an apartment on Parkinson Street in which two women were reportedly beating another woman. Normal Police say that incident remains under investigation.
Gentry has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and aggravated assault. He was jailed in lieu of posting about $7,500 bond. Crose was charged with battery and possession of alcohol by a minor. He faces a $535 bond.
