STANFORD – Olympia High School will be looking for a new head football coach after this season.
The Olympia School Board on Monday approved the resignation of Mike Rathbun who had coached the Spartans for seven seasons. He has compiled a 15-47 record.
Rathbun led Olympia to the playoffs in 2014, but the Spartans have won only three games in the three following seasons.
The Spartans carry a 17-game losing streak into Friday’s season finale against Chillicothe IVC.
