WJBC Radio, in conjunction with Meatheads of Bloomington-Normal and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Lilly Culp – U-High Swimming

Lilly broke the meet record in the 200 individual medley (2:10.42) and won the 100 breaststroke (1:06.97) to lead the Pioneers to the title at the Central State Eight Conference Meet.

James Morris – Central Catholic Football

James caught the game-winning touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter, his third touchdown of the day, and sealed the win with an interception in the final moments as the Saints defeated Beardstown, 35-31, in a Class 3A First Round Playoff game.
