WJBC Radio, in conjunction with Meatheads of Bloomington-Normal and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Isabel Schaefbauer – U-High Volleyball

Isabel scored 18 service points, including two long serving runs as the Pioneers topped host Tinley Park to win the Class 3A Super-Sectional.

Ryne Faulk – El Paso-Gridley Football

Ryne blocked a punt in the fourth quarter to set up the deciding score – his third touchdown of the game – to lead the Titans to a 28-22 win over Knoxville, in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
