BLOOMINGTON – Zach Knobloch hit a school record 10 three-pointers while Illinois Wesleyan set a new mark with 20 treys in the Titans’ 94-75 win over Alma in the Illinois-Michigan Challenge at Shirk Center.
Playing in just his second game as a Titan after transferring from Wisconsin-Whitewater, Knobloch scored 30 points while Brady Rose led IWU with a career-high 35 points, including 27 in the first half as the Titans led by as many as 16 before the intermission.

The Scots pulled to within 44-38 in the opening minute of the second half, promoting Rose to call timeout. The Titans responded with a 7-o run to which included two Brady Rose jumpers as Wesleyan regained command.
Knobloch set the school record with a three-pointer with 3:34 to go, while Jason Gregoire set the single-game team record with a three with 36 seconds left.
Jaylen Beasley led IWU with 12 rebounds while he was held scoreless in 21 minutes.
The Titans (2-0) will host Calvin at 4 p.m. Saturday.
