Rescue teams dispatched after a man’s arm gets trapped in auger

HEYWORTH – The Normal Fire Department is reporting a man’s arm is trapped in an auger in Hayworth.

Normal Fire is preparing a technical rescue team to be dispatched to the scene.

The Hayworth Fire Department later reported the man’s sleeve was caught in the auger. It was reported that Hayworth Fire arrived on the scene and cut the sleeve to free the man’s arm. He was then taken to a local hospital to be examined. There was reportedly no visible damage to his arm.
