Titans outscore Rhodes in Memphis finale

MEMPHIS – Brady Rose scored 24 points to lead five Titans in double figures as Illinois Wesleyan outscored Rhodes, 123-104, in the final game of the Rhodes Thanksgiving Classic at Mallory Hyde Gymnasium.

The Titans remain composed against the Lynx’ frenzied ‘Grinnell System’ of full-court pressure and up-tempo offense.  IWU committed only six turnovers in the first half while building a 67-59 advantage and finished with 17 for the game,

Collin Bonnett added 22 points for Wesleyan. Danny Baker added 12 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

IWU (5-0) will open College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play on Saturday against Carthage at Shirk Center.
