NAPERVILLE – Colin Bonnett’s driving layup at the buzzer lifted Illinois Wesleyan to a 68-66 win over North Central in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin game at Gregory Arena.
IWU led by as many as 19 in the second half as a Brady Rose jumper put the Titans up 44-25 with 18:36 to go. The Cardinals clawed back, eventually tying the game at 66 when Alex Sorensen made the first of two free throws with 13 seconds left.

Bonnett led Wesleyan with 15 points. Brady Rose added 10 points and a team-high six rebounds. Connor Raridon led all scorers with 20 points.
IWU (7-1, 2-1 in the CCIW) will host Washington University on Dec. 17.
