BLOOMINGTON – Washington University outscored Illinois Wesleyan 40-13 over the final 11:27 of the first half and cruised to a 95-69 win over the Titans at Shirk Center.
Freshman Jack Nolan posted 23 points of the bench for the No. 1 Bears (8-1) who took the lead for good on back-to-back three pointers by Matt Highsmith and Nolan to go up 26-20 in the first half.

The Titans (7-2) went cold after a strong shooting start and ended 36 percent from the game while getting outrebounded 49-33. Zach Knobloch led IWU with 17 points on five three-pointers.
Wesleyan visits Chicago on Tuesday.
