Bloomington hires Mahrt as Community Development Director

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington has officially hired Bob Mahrt to serve as the city’s Community Development Director.

Mahrt, who has served in the position on an interim basis since December, came to Bloomington after working as Interim City Administrator for the city of Lincoln in Logan County.

Bloomington Interim City Manager Steve Rasmussen says Mahrt brings experience and passion to the job.

Mahrt will receive an annual salary of $110,000.
