WASHINGTON – Tributes have been pouring in for former First Lady Barbara Bush. The only woman to see her husband and son sworn in as U.S. president, has died. She was 92.

“She leaves behind a legacy of accomplishment that will continue to make her a role model for years to come,” LaHood said. “Kristen and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Bush family and send our prayers during this difficult time.”
U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger called her “an incredible woman, inspiring role model and true icon in American history.”
“From her charitable heart, her genuine kindness and her fun-loving nature, Barbara Bush won the hearts of millions and is universally beloved. Our country is better for her dedicated public service and it is my hope that her legacy of great strength, enduring faith and unwavering patriotism will forever inspire us and future generations.
