Mulberry Street in Normal to close

NORMAL – Beginning Monday at 7 a.m., Mulberry Street from Linden Street to Constitution Trail Boulevard will be closed for sanitary sewer replacement.

The street is expected to be returned to one-lane traffic by 5 p.m. on Monday where traffic will continue to be maintained in the south lane of Mulberry Street. The lane will be reopened for the Illinois Special Olympic Summer Games weekend.

The closure is in association with the continuing water main installation on Mulberry Street.
