Prosecutors said Jackson said she was sitting on the porch of her residents when the victim walked up and put his hand in her face and was ‘aggressive’ towards her and told her ‘he would beat her up’ or ‘would have someone beat her up.’
Prosecutors said Jackson then took a kitchen knife that was laying on the floor next to her and stabbed Brown in the stomach because she ‘wanted to hurt him.’
Prosecutors added that Jackson then took the knife inside and cleaned it and then proceeded to go to her father’s residence.
A passing motorist who found Brown calling for help, and took him to BroMenn Medical Center where he later died.
Prosecutors say that Brown had no weapon on him during the encounter with Jackson.
