Unit 5 rivalry highlights Week 2 high school football

The Unit 5 high schools square off in the annual Chili Bowl in the featured game of Week 2 of the WJBC Friday Night High School Football Extravaganza.

Normal West visits Normal Community as both won their openers last week, West over Peoria Notre Dame 44-13 and NCHS over Richwoods 43-7. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Extravaganza also will cover U-High at Rochester, Central Catholic at Prairie Central, Dee-Mack at El Paso-Gridley and Tri-Valley at Fieldcrest.

The Extravaganza begins at 6:10 p.m. on AM 1230 WJBC and WJBC.com with scene-setters until the 7:00 kickoffs, around-the-horn updates every quarter hour and post-game coverage until 11 p.m. Score updates are available on the WJBC Sports Twitter feed (@SportsWJBC).
