NPD: Juvenile arrested for Anderson Park stabbing

NORMAL – Normal Police have made an arrest for a stabbing that happened late Saturday afternoon at Anderson Park on East College Avenue.

Police said they arrested a 16-year old boy, who’s being held in the McLean County Juvenile Detention Center.

The victim is also 16-years old. Police said he suffered a stab wound to the back. The teenager was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, although police believed he did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
