BLOOMINGTON – Authorities have released the name of a man found shot to death early Wednesday morning on Bloomington’s west side.

Egerton Dover, 20, of Bloomington is the Twin-Cities’ 11th homicide victim this year. Bloomington Police said there have been no arrests, but they’re not revealing other details.

Dover was pronounced dead at the scene after Bloomington Police responded to the shooting at 816 W. Jefferson St. about 4:45 Wednesday morning.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said an autopsy will be performed Thursday.

Dover’s Facebook page said he attended University High School in Normal.
