BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police have taken a man and woman into custody after an armed robbery at a Casey’s General Store.
Police were called around 1:30 p.m. Sunday to the Casey’s located in the 2000 block of Fox Creek Road. It was reported a Casey’s employee was in his vehicle in the parking lot when one suspect pointed a gun at him. The other suspect is a former employee at the store.
The employee was robbed of over $5,000 cash and the suspect fled the scene with another person in a vehicle.
BPD located the suspects and arrested 31-year old Calvin Harris and 29-year old Mary Harris. Mary Harris is a former Casey’s worker.
Both face charges for armed robbery and unlawful restraint.
No injuries were reported and no other information is being released at this time.
