BLOOMINGTON – A McLean County Judge has set bond at a half-million dollars for the two suspects in a weekend robbery outside Casey’s General Store on Fox Creek Road.
Prosecutors filed armed robbery charges against Mary Harris, 29, and Calvin Harris, 31. Mary Harris, who used to work at the store, is also charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
Bloomington Police said a Casey’s employee was in his vehicle when one of the robbers pointed a gun at him and made off with more than $5,000.
Both defendants have to post a $50,035 cash bond to be released from jail while awaiting trial.
Their next court date is January 4.
