NPD: Woman escapes from Friday night home invasion

NORMAL – Normal Police are investigating a Friday night home invasion that happened in an apartment complex in the 2000 block of North Linden Avenue.

A woman told police she returned home about 9 p.m. to find an intruder inside wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants.

Police say there was a brief struggle, but she escaped, and was not seriously hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Normal Police Detective Bradley Underwood at 454-9535.
